Return & Refund Policy
Thank you so much for choosing GEN Tools. We want to make sure you feel confident when exploring and ordering from our store. We decided on a hassle-free Refund & Return Policy. When placing an order, you agree to the terms in our Return & Refund Policy. We uphold the same Refund & Return Policy in all online shops including eBay, Facebook, and Google. We monitor with cameras the shipping and handling of your order to make sure we guarantee the condition and description of your order. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your order, do not hesitate to contact us and we will discuss any of the issues you are going through with your order.
Our refund and returns policy last 30 days from the item delivery date. If 30 days have passed since your order delivery date, we can no longer offer any refunds or exchanges.
Returns and Exchanges
For sanitary and safety reasons several types of goods are exempt from being returned. We do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
Additional non-returnable items:
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items
To start the return process, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please contact us with the account you used to purchase your order or provide us with a copy of the receipt of your order at firstname.lastname@example.org. Let us know the reason that you decided to contact us and if you want to return the item for a full refund or keep the item and work with either a partial refund and/or an exchange of any missing or damaged parts of your order. We will stay in communication with you via email and provide any shipping labels, as necessary. Please see ‘Shipping‘ below for more information on the subject.
Refunds and Exchanges
Once your return is received, we will inspect it and compare the conditions and description with our video feed to verify the information and properly process your claim. We will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you return the item used, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, we may deduct an amount from your refund to cover the loss in the item’s value.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain number of days.
If you decide on an exchange depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary, but when available a tracking number will always be provided for you.
If you are approved, we will notify you by email and send the shipping label for you to return the item.
Return shipping is paid by GEN Tools if the order has one of or more the following:
- The item is missing and was not delivered.
- The item is in “New/Open Box” condition, and it arrived faulty, damaged, or missing parts.
- The item is in “Used” condition and it has arrived as faulty, damaged, or missing parts.
Any reason for return not mentioned above and you will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be returned in the same or similar conditions as received.
Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
